EA NEWCASTLE LIGHT RAIL SPOKESPERSON- MICHAEL VAN KOEVERDEN

Engineers Australia (EA) response to the Transport for NSW REF for the Light Rail was headed by the elected spokesperson Michael van Koeverden. As 2015 Newcastle Division president and local engineering professional Michael was chosen to lead a group of professional transport engineers and planners, urban designers, railway professionals and architects. As part of the broader EA Transport Society representing the best interests of the public in this important project. With approx $510 million in state government funding this is the largest infrastructure project for Newcastle in the recent or foreseeable future and EA are entrusted to provide an unbiased voice of the public in ensuring the right solution for Newcastle is delivered.
